Mr. Benjamin Bryant Turner, age 79 of Wilkesboro was welcomed into Heaven on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2021 at Pilgrim Baptist Church with Rev. Derek Kilby and Minister Rex Eldreth officiating. Entombment will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Turner was born February 27, 1942 in Davie County to Bryant David and Elma Trivette Turner. He was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church, he loved baseball “A New York Yankee Fan for Life”, he loved to hunt, loved being with his family and collecting baseball cards.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Brenda Miller and a brother; Robert Trivette.
He is survived by his wife; Helen Shew Turner of the home, two daughters; Donna Shew Mulnix and husband Donald of Beaufort SC, Kimberly Turner Peace and husband Brian of Davidson and a son; Jeff Shew and husband Doug Peters of Wilkesboro, five grandchildren; Alison Mulnix Kralick, Amy Mulnix Whelan, Thomas Richmond Mulnix, Katie Marie Peace, Lauren Ellen Peace, six great grandchildren; Aiden Ball, Addison Ball, Daniel Kralick, Ezra Kralick, Abigail Kralick, Charlotte Whelan and a sister; Frances Wentz of Florida.
