Belinda Phillips Laws

Mrs. Belinda Phillips Laws, age 54 of Purlear passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 12, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church in Purlear with Pastor Steve Bufkin and Pastor Anita Sain officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. 

Mrs. Laws was born August 9, 1966 in Wilkes County to Wayne Gray and Linda L.  Phillips.  She was a member of Jefferson United Methodist Church in Jefferson.  Belinda loved animals, loved doing the Ghost Tours in Wilkesboro and enjoyed doing paranormal investigations.  

She was preceded in death by her father; Wayne Gray Phillips. 

She is survived by her husband; Rickey Dale Laws of the home, her mother; Linda L.  Phillips of Purlear, aunt; Madge McNeil, great aunt; OnaDea Yates, cousins; Brenda Caudill, Grant, Brad and Shane Caudill. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Wilkes, PO Box 306, North Wilkesboro or Wilkes Playmakers, PO Box 397, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659. 

The family requests everyone attending the service to please wear a mask.
