Barbara Ann (Green) Pardue

Mrs. Barbara Ann Green Pardue, age 88, formerly of North Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Hillside Nursing Home, Wake Forest. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday November 1,2025 at 11:00 AM   at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel in North Wilkesboro with Pastor David Dyer officiating. The family will receive friends from afterward. 

Barbara was born October 28, 1936, in Wilkes County to E.L. (“Red”) and Nell Green. She was a member of Fairplains Baptist Church and a faithful participant in the Seekers Ladies Sunday School class. She worked for Carolina Mirror for over forty years. She was a very talented crafter and gardener. She had a passionate love for all God’s creatures (especially dogs, cats, birds, and horses). 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Wayne Carroll Pardue, and son; Andrew Gilbert Pardue. 

She is survived by her son; Grey Henderson Pardue and wife Wendy of Wake Forest, granddaughter; Savannah Pardue of Asheville, and ‘daughter-in-love” Suellen Perkins of Lyman, ME.
