Baby Austin Issiah Griffin, of Elkin, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.

A private Memorial Service will be held.

Baby Austin was born October 27, 2025, in Surry County to Eric Brandon Griffin and Mary Beth Travis.

In addition to his parents he is survived by, sisters; Lydia Marie Griffin of North Wilkesboro, Natalie Cathleen Griffin of North Wilkesboro, Kylee Marie Travis of Tampa, FL, brother; Jasper Charles Travis of the home, maternal grandparents; Robert Burns of Elkin, Carolyn Jones of Missouri, paternal grandparents; Richard Horace Griffin (Pamela) of North Wilkesboro, Donna Rutherford (Michael) of Hays, aunts; Shelly Burns of Missouri, Angel Handy (Matthew) of Ronda, uncles; Jason Griffin of Lexington, KY, Robert Burns Jr. of Missouri, and Braxton Minton of Wilkesboro.
