Annie Pennell Pearson

Mrs. Annie Pennell Pearson, age 90 of Boomer passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation Center. 

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Steve Robinson officiating.  Burial will be in Sharon Walker Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.  

Annie was born August 26, 1933 in Wilkes Country to Everette Lee and Bessie Price Pennell.  She was a member of Sharon Walker Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Cicero Pearson, a daughter; Cathy Lee Pearson, six sisters; Estelle Anderson, Irene Logan, Mae Osborne, Carolyn Wright, Ila Caudill and Susie Hodge, three brothers; George Price, James Pennell and Gwyn Pennell. 

She is survived by three daughters; Shirley P. Johnson and husband Doug of North Wilkesboro, Brenda P. Huffman and husband Ronnie of Purlear, Sandy Clonch Baker of Purlear, a son; Charles Pearson, Jr. of Boomer, three grandchildren; Sherri Johnson and fiancé Stacey Treat, Amy Craft and husband Jeremy, Chad Clonch and wife Lindsay, three great grandchildren; Emily Craft, Caylee Craft, Lyndon Clonch, two sisters; Iva Lee Watson of Boomer, Janette Billings and husband Robert of Boomer and a brother-in-law; Archie Hodge of Boomer.
