Mrs. Anna Mae Frisz Smith, age 100 of Hays passed away Wednesday May 11, 2022 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Saturday May 14, 2022 St. John Baptiste De LaSalle Catholic Church with Father John Hanic officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday May 13, 2022 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Anna Mae was born on May 6, 1922 in Indiana to Wilfrid and Mayme Ethel Ensor Frisz.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Winford Allen Smith; one son Robert Allen Smith.
She is survived by two granddaughters; Lorraine Jennings and husband Keith, Barbara Marie Jones; one grandson; Robert Allen Smith II and wife Jenny;three great grandchildren; Kristin Ann Pridgen and husband Bryan, Chelsie Marie Faw and husband Chris, Kodie Leigh Jennings; three great great-grandchildren; Kylee Ann Pridgen, John Keegan Pridgen, Wyatt Hudson Faw and one on the way; one sister; Dorothy Jean Cunningham; one brother; Wilfrid Paul Frisz and wife Barbara.
