Amy Lee Batton

Amy Lee Batton, age 54, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at her home in Moravian Falls. Born on March 22, 1971, she was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend.

Amy was a devoted and loving mother to her sons, Justin Nichols, Jacob Nichols, Nicholas Batton, and Zachary Batton. She was a proud grandmother to Lily, Thomas, Lance, and Esme, whom she adored. Her greatest wish was for them to always know how much she loved them.

Amy had a passion for country music, cherished her time spent reading, and found immense joy in creating lasting memories with her grandchildren. Her warmth and laughter brought light to everyone who knew her.

Though her passing has left a profound void, Amy’s family encourages all who remember her to focus on the joy she brought to their lives rather than the sorrow of her loss. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those she touched.

She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. In her passing, may Amy find peace and joy in being reunited with her beloved husband Dennis Burchette. We take comfort in knowing that she is now surrounded by the love and warmth of those who went before her.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until Noon on Wednesday, April 2, at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, 270 Armory Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.  A memorial service will follow at the chapel.
