Alline (Gregory) Coffey

Mrs. Alline Gregory Coffey, age 72 of Lenoir, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Amorem Hospice Chaplain Daphne Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in the Ronda Community.  The family will receive friends from 12:45 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Coffey was born February 6, 1953, in Guilford County to Luin and Judy Bell Hemric Gregory. She enjoyed spending evenings outdoors and time at the beach, but most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Coffey was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Julius Adolph Coffey, of the home; one daughter, Tammy Woody of Lenoir; one son, Clinton Elledge and wife Tonya also of Lenoir; four grandchildren, Dustin Elledge, Dalton Elledge, Dennis Smithey, and Kayla Elledge; five great-grandchildren, Leeland Poarch, Kaylee Poarch, Harley Triplett, Nataile Triplett, Kyler Triplett; her step-mother, Louise Day Gregory; one sister, Geraldine Mitchell and husband Dean of Hamptonville; and one brother, O’Dell Gregory and wife Dianne of Greensboro.
