Mrs. Alberta Call Eller, age 90, of Wilkesboro passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Victor Church officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park following the service at the church. The family will receive friends from 9:45 until 10:45 AM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Alberta was born on September 22, 1935, in Wilkes County to Clyde and Lillie Souther Call. She was a church member at Cranberry Baptist Church for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard “Filmore” Eller; sisters, Eleanor “Vestie” Hughes and Barbara Long; brothers, Robert Call, Bill Call, James Call, Tony Call, Roger Call, and Daniel “Danny” Call.
She is survived by brothers, Shade Call (Lunia) of Roaring River, Floyd “Guilford” Call (Phyllis) of Wilkesboro, Baxter “Ray” Call of Wilkesboro, and Edward “Eddie” Call of Millers Creek; sisters, Carol Barber of Pinehurst and Mary Ruth Martin of Ronda; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 510 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 325, Dobson, NC 27017.
