Mr. Albert Junior Johnson, age 82, of Wilkesboro passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at his home. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Mount Sinai Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Poindexter and Rev. Joey Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church. 

Albert was born September 5, 1943, in Wilkes County to Clint Lee and Virginia Hendren Johnson. He was a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

He is survived by his wife: Mary Johnson of the home, two sons; Ken and Vanessa Johnson of North Myrtle Beach, Chad and Christina Johnson of Wilkesboro, four grandchildren; Tyler Johnson of High Point, Tyler Hall of North Myrtle Beach, Hunter Johnson of Wahiawa, HI, Madison Johnson of Wilkesboro, three sisters; Donna Johnson (Alvin) of Wilkesboro, Yvonne Caudill of North Wilkesboro, Mary Parker (Don) of North Wilkesboro, two brothers; Flake Johnson (Linda) of Wilkesboro, Arvil Johnson (Barbara) of Ronda.
