Albert Franklin Fulp, age 93, of Elkin passed away on November 15, 2021 at Mountain Valley Hospice in Yadkinville, NC.
Mr. Fulp was born on March 30, 1928 in Forsyth County to Vernon and Della Fulp.
He is survived by one daughter, Belva Miller and husband Steve of Laurel Springs; one granddaughter, Courtney McAvoy and husband Bryce of Charlotte; and two great grandchildren, Meredith and Miller.
He is preceded in death by his son, Terry Wayne Fulp; sisters, Olivia Fulp and Myrtle Marie Fulp; and one brother, Harold Fulp.
Albert was an avid dancer and music lover. He was known locally by his signature red hat. He shared his love for dance with many friends and never met a stranger. Albert lived at Parkwood Place in Elkin, where he was happy and content for the past six years. The Parkwood staff has been a blessing to the entire family. Prior to retirement, Albert worked at RJ Reynolds for 38 years.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
