Aidan John Tharington

Mr. Aidan John Tharington, age 23, of North Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at his home.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Scenic Memorial Gardens with Rev. Roy Tharington officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. A small reception will be held immediately following the service at the home.

Aidan was born January 4, 2002 in Georgetown, SC to James Michael Tharington and Elizabeth Votor.  He worked for S. Sparks Roofing Company.

He was preceded in death by his father; James Michael Tharington, a sister; Kaitlin Morehead, maternal grandparents; Camille Carolyn and Errol Patrick Votor, paternal grandparents; James and Jane Tharington, and uncle; Michael Votor.

He is survived by his mother; Elizabeth Votor of North Wilkesboro, aunts and uncles; Terese Votor, Kathleen (Patrick) Jones, Roger (Judy) Murray, Alan Tharington, Teresa (Greg) Gordon, Pam Mackie, Aidan’s Godparents; Rosemary (Carmine) Scavera, cousins; Corinne, Lee, Sean, Kristen, Amanda, Nicholas, Samantha, Pete, Tyler, Michael, Heather, Ashley, Josh, Jeff, Matthew, Ryan, Brandon, and Dustin and other cousins that loved and will miss him.
