Mr. Adam Christopher (Carroll) Brooks, age 48, of North Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro. 

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Casey Walker officiating. Burial will be at the VA Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Mr. Brooks will be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 11:00 in Salisbury National Cemetery.

Adam was born July 30, 1976, in Dorchester, Maryland to Earl Bernard and Verdeva Jones Brooks. He served in the Marine Corp during the Iraq war. Adam was qualified to perform the duties as a rifle and pistol coach, having completed the prescribed courses given by the 2D FSSG marksmanship training unit.  On July 4, 1994 Adam met Mary Baines and they were married June 25, 1999, spending 30 wonderful years together. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother; Eric Brooks. 

He is survived by his wife; Mary Brooks of the home, three daughters; Megan Baines of New Mexico, Sierra Mullins (Nina) of West Virginia, Amaya Brooks of Missouri, son; Devon Brooks (Monica) of North Wilkesboro, four grandchildren; Johnathan, Victor, Yarelle, and Ama.
