Thomas Roosevelt Wagoner

Mr. Thomas Roosevelt Wagoner, age 71 of 262 Willie Tharpe Drive , Hays NC 28635,  passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Union Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Wiley Boggs and Bro. James Pike officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 10:00 Friday evening at the home.

Mr. Wagoner was born January 24, 1948 in Wilkes County to Rev. Allen Robert Wagoner and Mrs. Barbara Mae Ellen Royal Wagoner. He was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters; Tenda Pike, Lockie Wagoner, Billie Pike, Kansas Lane and Dorothy Wagoner, two brothers; Jacob Wagoner and Tarry Wagoner and a half-brother; Raymond Wagoner.

Mr. Wagoner is survived by his wife; Carrie Annabell Pike Wagoner, two daughters; Janet Wagoner and husband Randy of Ronda, Daisy Royal and husband William “Bill” of Hays, two sons; Manley Wagoner of Albemarle, Lonnie Wagoner of Maury, six grandchildren; David Wagoner, Randy Wagoner, Jr., Justin Wagoner, Jason Wagoner, Courtney Eller and Austin Royal, thirteen great grandchildren; Bernice, Shelby, James, Zachary, Haileigh, Everleigh, Erica, Kenneth, Susan, Edna, Isaiah, Mariah and Autumn, two sisters; Lottie Vea Pike of North Wilkesboro and Mandy Pike and husband William of North Wilkesboro.
