Joann (Blackburn) Wyatt

Mrs. JoAnn Blackburn Wyatt, age 85 of Fleetwood, passed away Thursday, December 05, 2019 at Margate Health and Rehab Center of Jefferson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Old Fields Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Powers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Wyatt was born May 16, 1934 in Ashe County to Willet Blackburn and Iris Church Blackburn.  She was a homemaker and a member of Old Fields Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters; Debbie Lynn Wyatt and Donna Leigh Snider and a brother: Kyle Blackburn.

Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her husband; Billy Wyatt of the home, a daughter; Janet Miller and husband John of Fleetwood, two grandchildren; John (Junior) Miller and Mary Kay Miller and an aunt Vera Blackburn Church of Jefferson.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Medi Home Hospice PO Box 421 Jefferson, NC 28694. The family requests no food.
