Mr. Larry Sherman Wyatt, age 55, of Laurel Drive, North Wilkesboro died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00, Monday, November 7, at Fishing Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Poole and Dr. James Horton officiating. Burial will be in Halls Mills Cemetery in McGrady. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 5:30 until 7:30 Sunday night.
Mr. Wyatt was born in Wilkes County, December 23, 1952, to Estel and Minnie Handy Wyatt. He was a member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Wyatt worked for the Wilkes EMS as a paramedic until his retirement. He also retired from North Wilkesboro Fire Department in 2007 as assistant chief.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by two brothers, Spurgeon Wyatt, Charlie Wyatt and a sister, Sally Wyatt.
Mr. Wyatt is survived by his wife, Cathy Reeves Wyatt of the home; two daughters, Angie Robinson and husband, Scott of Moravian Falls and Mindy Munsey and husband, Alan of Wilkesboro; three brothers Lewis Wyatt and wife, Portia of Wilkesboro, Bill Wyatt and wife, Betty of McGrady, and Danny Wyatt and wife, Vickie of Wilkesboro; two grandchildren, Taylor Grace Munsey and Avery Kate Robinson.
