Obituary for Max Percy Eller

Mr. Max Percy Eller, age 88 of Purlear, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Health, Wilkes Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 23rd,2017 at Greater Vision Baptist Church with Pastor Shane Pardue ,Pastor Tim Roten and Pastor Joey Moore officiating. Burial with Military Honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1142 Honor Guard will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 prior to the service at the church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; James M. Eller and Rex J. Eller.

He is survived by his wife; Ethelene Foster Eller of the home, a daughter; Vickie Eller Harris and husband; Greg of Purlear, two sons; David W. Eller and wife Kim of Elkin and Raymond M. Eller and wife Carolyn of Purlear, three step children; Peggy Church and husband Wayne of Jonesville, Kathy Castevens and husband Alan of Booneville and Doug Jones and wife Nancy of Wilkesboro, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sisters; Christine Eller of Wilkesboro, Haline Eller of Wilkesboro and Nancy Barnes and husband, Harry of Tega Cay, SC and three brothers; Raynard Eller of Purlear, Edward “Ed” Eller of Wilkesboro and Kenneth “Kent” Eller of Wilkesboro.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Greater Vision Seniors Alive, PO Box 309 Millers Creek, NC 28651.
