WAYNE E. MYERS
Wayne E. Myers, of Wilkesboro joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff on May 15, 1976. Wayne is married to Kathy Caudill Myers and they have two children, Carrie Myers Holbrook who is married to Ryan Holbrook and John F. Myers. Wayne graduated from high school in Winston Salem in 1972, Appalachian State University in 1976 and Gupton Jones School of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA in 1979 receiving his funeral service license. He joined his father in law, the late H. D. Caudill, Jr. in business at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. Wayne serves as president of the company. He is a member of and served as president of the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association from 1992 – 1993. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and has served on the policy board of the National Funeral Directors Association. Wayne is very active in community affairs. He served on the North Wilkesboro Planning Board, United Way, past Chairman of Wilkes County Chamber of Commerce in 2001, Wilkes Vision 20/20, Wilkes Economic Development Corporation, Wilkes County Health Department and the Ruby Pardue Blackburn Adult Daycare Center. |

CLYDE D. CARPENTER, JR.
Clyde D. Carpenter, Jr. (Don), of Woodhaven Rd., North Wilkesboro joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff on May 1, 1980. He is married to Donna Brown Carpenter and they have two children, Megan Leigh Carpenter and Marcy Ann Carpenter. Don graduated from North Wilkes High School in 1978. He attended Wilkes Community College from 1979 to 1980. He attended Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA and graduated in 1981. Don has been with Reins-Sturdivant his entire funeral service career. In November of 2001, Don was made vice-president/secretary of Reins-Sturdivant Inc. He is a deacon and choir member of Baptist Home Baptist Church. Don is also a member of the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. |

PHIL MILLER
Phil Miller of Haymeadow Road, Hays joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff on May 24, 1976. Phil is married to Judy Minton Miller and they have two children, Elizabeth Miller Brown and Timothy R. Miller and one grandchild. Phil graduated from West Wilkes High School in 1967. he served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Phil graduated from Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA in 1973. He is a member of Bethel Baptist Church, North Wilkesboro Masonic Lodge #407 and a member of the Marine Corps League Brushy Mountain Detachment 1187, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1142, and the NC Funeral Directors Association and served as the President during 2008 and 2009. He is also a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and is currently serving as Vice-President of the Cremation Association of North Carolina. |

ROBIN A. ENGLAND
Robin A. England of North Wilkesboro joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff on July 12, 1978. Robin is married to Barbara Thompson England and they have three sons, Zeb Wright, Cole Wright and Luke England. Robin graduated West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte in 1972. After serving four years in the US Navy he attended John A Gupton Mortuary College in Nashville, TN., graduating in 1978. Robin attends Wilkesboro Baptist Church and is a member of the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association. Robin enjoys running, cycling and playing the banjo. |

SHARON DIANE POPLIN
Sharon Diane Poplin, of Flint Hill Road, North Wilkesboro joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff on March 16, 1987. She graduated from Starmount High School in Boonville in 1976. She graduated from Wilkes Community College in 1978 with an Associated Degree in Secretarial Technology. Sharon is a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church in Jonesville. |

WANDA MCGRADY TEAGUE
Wanda McGrady Teague, of Cane Creek Ch. Rd., McGrady joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff in October of 1993. Wanda has a son, A. Scott and wife Tonya Stellman Teague and two grandchildren Jackson and Aden Teague. She graduated Wilkes Central High School in 1968. She graduated from Wilkes Community College with a degree in business data processing in 1977 and magna cum laude from Gardner Webb University with a degree in Information Systems in 1987. Wanda is a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, where she also teaches bible school and sings in the choir. |

COLE WILLIAMS YOUNGER
Cole W. Younger, of Statesville Road, North Wilkesboro joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff on December 14, 1974. Cole is married to Zee Prevette Younger and they have one child, Travis Cole Younger. Cole graduated from North Iredell High School. He attended Wilkes Community College. Cole attended Forsyth Tech and Fayetteville Tech graduating with his funeral director’s license. Cole is a member of Taylor Springs Baptist Church and the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association. |

EDWIN RAY THARPE, JR.
Edwin Ray Tharpe, Jr., of North Quail Circle, Wilkesboro joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff in September of 1987. Eddie is married to Jody McDaniel Tharpe and they have one daughter, Brittney Nicole Tharpe. Eddie graduated from East Wilkes High School. He attended Forsyth Tech and Fayetteville Tech graduating with his funeral director’s license. Eddie is a member of Oakwoods Baptist Church, Minister at Liberty Baptist Church and the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association. |

RICHARD D. HINCHER
Richard D. Hincher, of Airport Road, Hays joined the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff on January 7, 1999. Richard is married to Kimberly G. Hincher and they one child, Abigail Jordan Hincher. He graduated from North Wilkes High School in 1982 and from Wilkes Community College with a degree in Applied Science in 1984. He attended Fayetteville Tech, graduating with his funeral director’s license. Richard is a member of Arbor Grove United Methodist Church. |

Sammy Lee Ingram, Sr. of Lenoir joined the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff on July 27, 2000. Sam is married to LeAnn Victoria Ingram and has five children, Cindy Ingram, Katey Ingram, Amber Ingram Sammy L. Ingram, II and Tory Woodruff. Sam graduated from Hibriten High School in 1982. Sam is a member of Cub Creek Baptist Church and a retired Lenoir Fireman and Valmead Fireman. |

TIMMY ALTON STANLEY
Timmy Alton Stanley, of Jimmy Bryant Road, North Wilkesboro joined the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff on June 18, 1986. Tim is married to Lisa D. Stanley and they have one son, Christopher Alton Stanley married to Amber Brown Stanley, and one grandchild Aiden. Tim attended North Wilkes High School and later graduated through New Port Pacific High in 1990. Tim is a member of Round Mountain Baptist Church. Tim does cemetery maintenance and sets monuments for our monument company. |

BOBBY DEAN STANLEY
Bobby Dean Stanley, of Jimmy Bryant Road, North Wilkesboro joined the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff on August 28, 1987. Bobby is married to Dorothy K. Stanley and they have one daughter, Brandi Kala Stanley. Bobby attended North Wilkes High School and later graduated through New Port Pacific High in 1988. He is a member of Victory Baptist Church. Bobby is also a Ordained Minister. Bobby does cemetery maintenance and sets monuments for our monument company. |

ROGER DALE CHURCH
Dale Church of the Mount Pleasant community in Wilkesboro joined the staff of Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home November 22, 1986. Dale is married to Donna Hart Church and they have two sons; Stanley Dale Church and Cory William Hershley Church. Dale attended West Wilkes High School. He is an active member of Antioch Baptist Church where he is Youth Director and is a member of the Mount Pleasant Ruritan Club. His duties include grounds maintenance at Scenic Memorial Gardens. |

WILLIAM CLEGG SCROGGS, III
Clegg Scroggs joined the staff of Reins-Sturdivant in August 1998. Clegg has one son, W.C. Scroggs, IV. Clegg graduated from Wilkes Central High School in 1974. He graduated from the criminal justice program at Wilkes Community College in 1980. He was a Detective Captain with the Wilkesboro Police Department from 1980 until 1998. He still is a certified officer with the Wilkes County Sherrif’s Department on a part-time basis. In addition to Clegg’s responsibilities at the funeral home, he works with grounds maintenance at Scenic Memorial Gardens. |

DOROTHY RUTH BEAMON
Dorothy Ruth Beamon, of North Wilkesboro joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff in October of 1996 to help start our grief recovery program. Dot graduated from Wilkes Central High School in 1957. She attended Appalachian State University graduating in 1961 with a B. S. in Elementary Education, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduating in 1970. Dot is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the North Wilkesboro Women’s Club, the Friends of the Library, and Wilkes Art Gallery. Dot has facilitated a Grief Recovery Support Group for Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home that serves the families of Wilkes County. |

GARY C. STONE
Gary Stone joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in March 1990. Gary is married to Gaynell Johnson Stone and they have one son, Matthew Gary Stone. Matthew and his wife Stephanie have two children, Eli and Paige. Gary graduated from North Wilkes High School, Wilkes Community College and Fayetteville Technical Community College. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. Gary is a member and deacon of Union Baptist Church in Millers Creek, and a member of North Wilkesboro Masonic Lodge #407. He is a volunteer at the Wilkes Community College Walker Center and with the Wilkes Central High School athletic program. Gary is a licensed funeral director and manager of Scenic Memorial Gardens. |

ROBERT D. PERRY, JR.
Robert D. Perry, Jr. of North Wilkesboro joined Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home staff in September, 2005. Robert is married to Theresa C. Perry and has one daughter, Christine Perry. Robert is a graduate of Warren Academy. He attended East Carolina University and is a graduated with honors from Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service where he was a member and officer of the Phi Sigma Eta Honor Society. Robert is also a member of The North Carolina Funeral Directors Association and has been active in funeral service since 1995. Robert has also served as a volunteer for the Board of Elections and is a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church |

ZEE YOUNGER
Zee Younger joined Scenic Memorial Gardens in November 2009. Zee is married to Cole Younger. They have one son, Travis who is married to Christie Bouldin Younger. Zee graduated from Northeast Guilford High School and Wilkes Community College. She has many years experience in the banking and insurance fields. Cole and Zee live on Statesville Road in North Wilkesboro where they are actively involved at Taylor Springs Baptist Church. She is currently serving as Church Treasurer, Youth Sunday School Teacher and choir member. Her special interests are art and gardening. |
